At Bear Creek Corgis the health and wellbeing of our dogs is top priority.
We are committed to offering only unaffected puppies and offer a 2-year guarantee against genetic conditions. Our corgi puppies are each tested for the following conditions.
- Degenerative Myelopathy (DM) – effects the spinal cord, eventually leading to paralysis of the hind quarters
- Von Willebrand Disease (vwd1) – a blood coagulation disorder
- Exercise-Induced Collapse (EIC) – manifests through muscle weakness or coordination issues after intense exercise
- PRA-RCD3 Progressive Retinal Atrophy Rod-Cone Dysplasia 3 – A degenerative eye condition.
Our stud, Mo, is clear of all of the above disease, which eliminates the possibility of any of our puppies being affected.
